Overview

The Cateran Ecomuseum is an ambitious new initiative for Eastern Perthshire and Western Angus. This project will deliver a pilot stage for the Cateran Ecomuseum which will rehearse and test the development and delivery of up to x15 sites and experiences across Eastern Perthshire and Western Angus from September 2018 to March 2019. The results of this pilot will influence the planned development of a wider roll out of sites and experiences which is currently the subject of a larger Heritage Lottery Fund application.

Pilot stage work will include:

  • Identifying a set of 15 possible sites for the pilot
  • Creating content and itineraries for the 15 sites

•             Installation of x15 Bluetooth beacons and housing at the chosen sites
